My Electric Yarn Cake Winder Babe

Okay my honest opinion about this Electric Yarn Cake Winder that I have for a while now, it's from Caydo and I have the M1 model.

So a little backstory, my old one broke, searched for tutorials on YouTube on how to fix it but without any success. So I thought it's time to buy a new one. I remembered I wanted to buy one of the wooden ones as they look more durable and pretty. 

But then I found out there were also electrical ones and it has caught my attention.
At first, I was a bit sceptical, like is it another tool that is unnecessarily turned into an electrical device?

I saw this pink one from Caydo, I was already obsessed with the color so decided to give it a go. And let me tell you it was an upgrade I didn't know I needed!

It's soooo cute compared to my old manual ugly one, and it's so easy to use once you get used to it!

I can now make perfect cakes with it with different types of yarn, the manual does say you can't make yarn cakes with acrylic and super chunky yarn but I only found out after I made the yarn cakes with acrylic and bulky yarn and it still works perfectly fine LOL.

And now, this electric yarn cake winder is 100% part of my crochet station and I'm really happy to have her! Even though I don't use it very often anymore (because I have already turned all my yarns into a cake, I don't have any more to wind HAHAH), she's still so aesthetically pleasing and adorable to look at!! And I feel like I have created an emotional bond with her :')

I would highly recommend this product, it did take some time for me to get used to it (I thought mine was broken at the beginning hahahah), but read the manual carefully and you'll be perfectly fine :D
